Coastal Cutthroat Education Award

Purpose

The annual Coastal Cutthroat Education award provides financial support to outstanding educators seeking funding to educate students and/or inform members of the public about Coastal Cutthroat Trout populations. This award may be given annually to expand information sharing associated with this species. Awards are given by the CCC Board of Directors and partners. Research Awards can be used for costs associated with classroom or field equipment/supplies, publication and costs associated with travel to conferences or field work. Award will be a total of $750, and will be given directly to the educator. A written report detailing the use and outcome/result of funds along with an oral presentation will be required within two years of the date when award was received?

Criteria

Educators must be employed or volunteering for a recognized school or program in fisheries or a closely related environmental field.
Individuals should have recommendation from a CCC Board member or project partner. Financial need
