William Young Memorial Research Grant

Purpose

The annual Coastal Cutthroat William Young Memorial Research Grant provides financial support to outstanding students pursuing research studies related to Coastal Cutthroat Trout. This award may be given annually to expand the research and management focused on this species. Awards are given by the CCC Board of Directors and partners. Research Awards can be used for costs associated with equipment, analysis/lab, publication and costs associated with travel to conferences or field work. Award will be a total of $750, and will be given directly to the graduate student. A written report detailing the use and outcome/result of funds along with an oral presentation will be required within two years of the date when award was received?

Criteria

1. Students must be enrolled in a recognized program in fisheries or a closely related environmental field. 2. Individuals should have recommendation from a CCC Board member or project partner. 3. Financial need
